Mexican Pavilion Foodex Japan 2015

Tokyo, Japan

For Foodex Japan 2015 the idea was to create a eye-catching representation of a young Mexico. Inspired in the coulture's vivid colors and richness in natural resources, the concept developed into a live combination that contrasts solid, yet curved surfaces with subtle textures of wood. Seeking to build a estethic bridge between folklore and the Mexican dynamic livestyle, the design broke the monotony of the commonly used prefebrecated structues. It created a harmonic balance of asymetric geometry and curves.
